Introducing The Catalyst Strong Coffee Strong Women Athens-Limestone Edition
In partnership with the Athens-Limestone Chamber of Commerce, this edition of Strong Coffee Strong Women will feature two amazing leaders – Savannah Stanfield, owner of Ro’s Grille and Stephanie Kennedy-Mell, COO and CMO of Church Street Family Hospitality Group.
This Strong Coffee Strong Women program will be hosted in person at the Athens State University newly opened “LaunchBox”, an entrepreneurial Center located in the Center for Lifelong Learning.
We will open at 8:00 AM CT for the in-person event with the program starting at 8:45 AM CT.
The Catalyst Strong Coffee Strong Women program spotlights a woman business owner or community leader who exemplifies every woman’s unique path to success. Hear an“Espresso-monial” that will uplift and inspire you and connect you with other inventive, resourceful, and highly productive business owners and industry/government experts.

About Savannah Stanfield:
Savannah, was a nurse in the Shoals when she and her family moved to Athens, AL in 2016 and never looked back. After opening Ro’s Grille in October of 2015, the Shoals natives knew they were meant to be in Athens. She became a nurse practitioner and has been juggling restaurant life/practicing medicine since 2020 until the most recent expansion of Ro’s Grille to downtown Athens. Her full time and attention are solely within her family and the restaurant nowadays.
About Stephanie Kennedy-Mell:
Stephanie and her husband, Matt own and operate Church Street Family Hospitality Group, a now eight-business-strong collection of restaurants and bars in Huntsville, Ala.
Before Stephanie began her career in hospitality, she worked in the fashion industry for two decades. A graduate of Fashion Institute of Technology, she worked in New York City and Los Angeles. She and Matt chose to return home to Alabama and together follow their passion for wine by opening a wine shoppe, starting Church Street Wine Shoppe in the fall of 2014.
They now operate nine concepts. Stephanie is proprietor, COO and CMO of the Church Street Family Hospitality. Overseeing all aspects of operations; including managing North Alabama’s very first sit-down food and wine tasting club. She also operates the distribution center encompassing purchasing and inventory of all non-consumables, creation of SOP’s and training manuals, implementation of technology, systems and reporting. As well as all marketing, charity and community relations, and catering & event coordination. As well as concept design of each location
